Comprehensive stevedoring services with modern equipment

Our stevedoring department offers custom-built cargo handling and storage services at the port.

The port specialises in bulk cargo handling and is the largest port in Finland for handling various types of raw minerals and mineral aggregates.

For handling a variety of materials, the port has three 10 ton rail mounted quay cranes, and two multipurpose cranes on crawler tracks and two on wheels designed for the handling of timber, logs, general cargo and dry bulk. In addition there are front loaders, compact loaders (Bobcats) for trimming, and a terminal tractor.

The port has one ro-ro ramp, 17 m wide at the end of the harbour basin. The ramp can be used for loading/unloading from the stern or bow of the vessel.

The stevedoring department works in two shifts on weekdays from 06.00 to 14.00 and from 14.00 to 22.00.

Cargo handling activities are subject to the General Port Operating Conditions 2022.
