Entry permits
In addition to being an area with restrictions on movement and access, the port is an ISPS security area in accordance with international regulations (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code). Access to the port area always requires authorization.
Port area traffic
The speed limit for vehicles within the port area is 30 km/h. When driving within the port area, vehicles must remain on the main traffic routes.
Existing traffic signs and any other applicable instructions must be strictly followed.
Safety equipment
When moving within the port, designated lanes and the sides of traffic routes must be used. When on foot, personal protective equipment must be worn as instructed.
Loading and unloading of goods
Arrival at the port requires completion of an online safety induction. Detailed instructions can be found here.

Bulk goods
All bulk cargo loads are weighed both upon arrival and departure. For weighing, an mScales weighing code is required, which must be obtained from your transport company. If the driver does not have a weighing code, they must contact their transport company or the terminal coordinator at +358 (0)40 651 2489 / terminal@inkooshipping.fi.
Note! Incoming weighing must always be performed with the truck’s front facing downhill, and outgoing weighing with the front facing uphill. This is especially important for split loads. mScales instructions and guidance video can be found here.
General cargo
When picking up general cargo, the order number for the load must always be provided. The order number can be obtained from your transport company, and the pickup must be notified at least 24 hours in advance to terminal@inkooshipping.fi.
Rudus gravel
Rudus gravel loads are handled by Inkoo Shipping at Rudus gravel pit, which is accessible via Kalasatamantie (turn left after the scales).
Vehicles are weighed both upon arrival and departure. For pickup, you need an account with Rudus and an mScales weighing code. For an account, contact Rudus at +358 20 447 711. For a weighing code, contact the terminal coordinator at +358 (0)40 651 2489 / terminal@inkooshipping.fi.
Note! We do not load tarpaulin-covered trailers with the wheel loader.
